Philosophy
At Wonder Bridge, our mission is to provide unwavering support to children and families who may feel neglected or overlooked by traditional systems. We firmly believe in taking a integrated approach to child development, which is why we prioritize home visits. By closely working with the entire family unit and understanding the dynamics within the home environment, we can make a lasting impact that extends beyond.
Mindfulness and meditation are integral to our approach, as we have personally experienced their transformative effects. Recognizing the profound benefits, we have integrated these practices into our programs. By promoting mindfulness and teaching children and families how to cultivate a sense of presence, we empower them to navigate life's challenges with resilience and grace.
At Wonder Bridge, we wholeheartedly embrace the philosophy of gaining insights from various viewpoints to establish meaningful connections. By deeply understanding each child's unique developmental journey, we can help caregivers navigate their children's behavior with empathy and compassion. Our focus is on increasing positive interactions and fostering connections through the power of play. We believe that it is through play that children learn, grow, and flourish.
Above all, we value your priorities and tailor our approach to meet your specific needs. We understand that each child and family is unique, and we strive to provide individualized support that respects your values and preferences. At Wonder Bridge, our interventions are developmentally appropriate, nurturing the growth of each child at their own pace.
Meet Corrine
Over the past two decades, I have noticed that the systems I’ve dedicated myself to serving and supporting have unintentionally allowed some children to ‘slip through the cracks’. Citing scores that don’t qualify or support needs that aren’t great enough. Turning children away only for them to come back a year or two later needing more intensive intervention. It never sat well with me, but what could I do? How could I make it better? How could I help families find support that isn’t readily, or widely available?
This journey began when I found myself and my children in a similar situation, inspiring me to take action and create a meaningful impact. Taking my experiences and training in Early Intervention, Montessori, Special Education Preschool, and Mindfulness I decided to leave public education to provide the services and support mine, and so many children and families needed.
